When:
April 18 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Where:
The Saratoga Library located at 13650 Saratoga Ave.,
Saratoga, California, 95070

The Arab American Cultural Center of Silicon Valley is proud to present Nancy Rodger, founder of Project Art Bridge, April 18 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the Saratoga Library, located at 13650 Saratoga Avenue. Nancy’s vision is to bridge the gap between the two cultures. She is working with both groups to create and explore ways to expose artists to each other.

“When I started Project Art Bridge Last September, I knew little about Iraq, I did not know any Iraqis. I wanted to know Iraq through the work of Iraqi artists, and needed to know the impact of war on their work,” says Nancy. The goal is to have the Iraqi women artists and American women artists learn about each other’s culture through their artwork.

Nancy will explain the spirit of Project Art Bridge, using a power point presentation to show the work of Iraqi artists from all over the world. Participating artists from the Bay Area will show digital and physical presentations of their work. There will be art from selected Project Art Bridge artists on display and for sale.

Nancy Rodger is the founder of Project Art Bridge. She is an artist and web designer living in San Francisco with her husband and two children. She attended the Syracuse University, the Cleveland Art Institute and the San Francisco Institute of Art. Nancy paints in acrylic and oils and participates in Open Studios in San Francisco.
